‘Someone Give this Girl a Job!’ – Green Eyed Monster
Yesterday I met with Christina & Anne, two women who are juggling parenthood and running an eco-friendly fashion company, Green Eyed Monster. Green Eyed Monster’s collections are designed and manufactured in Australia with 100% certified organic fabrics. Plus, $5 from every online sale is donated to the Australian Conservation Foundation.
I’ll be featuring their gorgeous line next week, but couldn’t resist posting this.
They must have heard the desperation in my voice…
‘A Word on Winter’
It’s a time for coats, capes, wools and knits, a time for fighting the frost in style. Fireplaces, friends and excessive consumption of food are comforting in these icy months.
The bitter cold can be depressing and deterring. Why go out, when you can snuggle under the doona with tea and coffee? Why socialise when TV, Nintendo and the Internet are all inside the toasty bedroom?
The past week has been busy, productive and challenging. It’s been a struggle to leave the house, spending entire days and nights indoors wearing pyjamas and explorer socks. From today, I’ve decided that “cold” isn’t a feeling that I’ll surrender to.
Therefore, it’s time to implement my Effective Winter Strategy
- Unplug the Super Nintendo

- Reorganise wardrobe for winter

- Polish those boots

- Break up with boyfriend/girlfriend *optional

Follow these 4 easy steps and I guarantee you will be out of the house and into the city in no time.
