Calling ALL Melbourne art lovers!  Two exciting local artists – Phillip Sayers and Jessica Page will show at The Light Factory Gallery in Eltham from 12 October until 6 November.

Jessica Page (featured above) had a sell out show last year at the Community Art Space at Eltham Library. Interestingly, she works in biro and her exquisite works are highly detailed with a whimsical touch about them. Each drawing takes a month to complete and there are just seven works (as well as high quality prints) in her incredible collection.

Phillip Sayers paints edgy, interesting landscapes and urbanscapes with his broad, sensual brushwork style. This very contemporary artist uses interesting supports such as old wooden
cigar and cheese boxes – a great match for the mid‐century home. As well as oil paintings, Phillip is also showing etchings and lithographs in his exhibition called ‘The short cut’.
