Service: Cute, possibly single men.
It’s kitschy, it’s cosy and it serves delicious home style cooking all morning, all day. Finally, a no-fuss cafe in middle-class suburbia that has the comfort food we all crave! Catering for all, whether you’re on a diet, want to indulge or just want a good cup of coffee and cake. The staff are young, tentative, friendly and their recommendations are often right on. The servings are not super sized, but they’re delicate, fresh and full of flavour.
What to order:
Gluten Free Zucchini Frittatas – Served with homemade Relish and Rocket: Don’t let the gluten free fool you, these frittatas are deliciously light and fluffy. Great balance of flavours, a new brunch favourite. Slightly lacking in seasoning, the relish was a perfect accompanist with the savoury stack (So don’t be shy to ask for extra relish).
Vietnamese Chicken Salad: A generous serving of marinated breast chicken, green beans, crunchy vegetables and a light dressing with a sweet, salty, sour punch.
Pear, hazelnut and dark chocolate cake: If you’re lucky to get it as soon as it’s come out of the oven, this cake is a heavenly treat with your coffee. The warm pear melting into the oozing dark chocolate with the crispy hazelnuts leaves you wanting more.
Vanilla and Chocolate flavoured cupcakes with plum frosting. Very cheeky.
