Echoing an old-school cafe’ charm, the high calorie menu entices diners with traditional cakes, pastries, and desserts. While the ambience is rather uninspiring, Chimmy’s mask minor flaws with beautiful, oven-baked Artisan breads and excellent coffee. Unfortunately, Chimmys interior is in need of a little re-vamp. Operating for more than 50 years, the once stylish, Parisian-style café’ could do with a touch of modernisation. With plenty of delicious choices, the quality of produce is fantastic, while the execution is swift and delivers. If you’re on the run, be sure to try the housemade maple Granola as well as a variety of gourmet filled sandwiches, foccacias and pastries that are all made daily.

I agree, Chimmy’s needs a bit of a revamp. But I can’t go back because I’m so fat.
Spent many a day bludging in chimmys enjoying coffee after coffee, avoiding heading back to dreaded work..
