How would you describe the Byron Bay Threads consumer?  

I would describe the typical BB Threads customer as someone who is looking for some extra service when it comes to buying clothes. We deliver this successfully with fast delivery and great descriptions. Many of our customers live in small and remote towns especially SA WA and NT, and seem to be looking for a variety of fashion without the need to travel.

I also find that 99.9% of our customers know their style and size well and have been completely happy with their purchases and are now revisiting our site and purchasing again and again.

How important is it to support local trade?
 
 Supporting local trade gives us more choice in style price and location. We get a fresher more diverse collection of fashion. It benefits not only the Australian economy but also gives the best possible choice to the consumer.

Is there fierce competition among other online stores within Australia, what separates Byron Bay Threads from the rest?

We can change and adapt to our customers needs quicker than most because we do all the design and backend of the website ourselves. We don’t out source any of this work so there is less waiting time

I think Australians are still looking around all the time for good Australian online stores and if they like your site they come back again and again. Our prices are aimed at the mid range market and we certainly off great quality. We are very quality conscious and our prices are very accessible.   I think that Australian stores do have the advantage of being able to get your clothes to you within a couple of days.

What are your aspirations for 2011?

Our aspirations for 2011 are to grow and evolve into a site that is well known used and trusted and liked of cause. We aspire to translate our love of fashion through our website and into our customers wardrobes for their enjoyment to share the fun of fashion.
